As
part of Architecture Week 2003 The Natural History Museum
will be offering visitors the chance to find out more about
the history and future of the Museum's architecture on special
tours being held at the Museum on Sunday 29 June 2003.
There
will be an opportunity to hear about the design of the Waterhouse
building, one of London's most famous landmarks. Tours will
also introduce visitors to the architecture of the Darwin
Centre, one of the biggest developments in the Museum's history.
Find out how architects have responded to the challenges of
housing millions of specimens in a building that will bring
the public closer to our scientists and offer them a glimpse
'behind the scenes' for the first time.
